Wer seid ihr?
Wir sind eine Initiative von Theologiestudierenden, die sich dafür einsetzen möchte, Postkoloniale Theorie in das Theologisieren zu integrieren.
Was macht ihr so?
Wir versuchen den Prozess des Umdenkens und Reflektierens anzustoßen und diesen durch Veranstaltungen und Projekte zu unterfüttern. Eines dieser Projekte ist #TheologieTeilen auf unserem Instagram-Account. Dort stellen wir monatlich eine Theolog:in mitsamt Biographie, Theologie, Werk und Rezeption vor, die sich kritisch mit Rassismus und Postkolonialer Theorie auseinandersetzt.
Was sind eure Ziele?
Postkoloniale Theologie soll aus der Marginalisierung als Randthema in das Zentrum des theologischen Nachdenkens rücken. Dabei geht es uns einerseits um die Dekonstruktion von Machtstrukturen, die Dezentralisierung von westlichem Theologisieren und andererseits auch um die Etablierung von bisher als kontextuell betrachteten Theologien.
Was ist euch wichtig?
Lust darauf, das eigene Theologisieren und Handeln kritisch zu hinterfragen und immer wieder bisher fremde Perspektiven kennenzulernen.
Wie läuft ein typisches Treffen bei Euch ab? / Wie arbeitet ihr zusammen?
Wir treffen uns einmal pro Woche in lockerer Atmosphäre, um Anstehendes zu besprechen und uns auszutauschen. Dabei kann jede:r eigene Ideen und Vorstellungen einbringen, über die wir gemeinsam diskutieren und aus denen unsere Projekte entstehen.
Wir verteilen anstehende Aufgaben, um unter der Woche selbständig arbeiten zu können, dabei achten wir darauf, das Arbeitspensum an unseren sonstigen Verpflichtungen anzupassen.

Im Januar 2021 fand unser erster Studientag zum Thema „Deutsche Theologie zwischen Postkolonialer Theologie und Dekolonisierung“ statt. Mit über 50 Teilnehmenden (Studierende, wie auch Lehrende) und drei internationalen Referierenden (Prof. Ulrike Auga, Prof. Anthony Reddie, Nick Elorm Ahialey-Mawusi) wurde über Probleme und neue Perspektiven diskutiert.

Who are you?
We are an initiative of theology students who want to work towards integrating postcolonial theory into theologising.
What do you do?
We try to initiate the process of rethinking and reflecting theology and to achieve this through organising events and projects. One of these projects is #TheologieTeilen (sharing theology) on our Instagram account. Every month, we present a theologian, including biography, theology, work and reception, who critically engages with racism and postcolonial theory.
What are your goals?
Postcolonial theology should move from marginalisation as a fringe topic to the centre of theological reflection. On the one hand, we are working towards the deconstruction of power structures, the decentralisation of Western theologising and, on the other hand, towards the establishment of theologies that have so far been regarded as contextual.
What is important to you?
The desire to critically question one’s own theologising and actions and to get to know perspectives that were previously foreign.
What is a typical meeting like / how do you work together?
We meet once a week in a relaxed atmosphere to discuss and exchange ideas. Everyone can bring in their own ideas and visions, which we discuss together and from which our projects emerge.
We distribute upcoming tasks so that we can work independently during the week, taking care to adapt the workload to our other commitments.

Tell us about a recent action/meeting/activity that you particularly liked.
In January 2021, we held our first study day on the topic of „German Theology between Postcolonial Theology and Decolonisation“. With over 50 participants (students as well as lecturers) and three international speakers (Prof. Ulrike Auga, Prof. Anthony Reddie, Nick Elorm Ahialey-Mawusi), we discussed problems and new perspectives.
